Travel expos kick off in north, central, and south Taiwan; nine hotels offer discounts

The annual Kaohsiung International Travel Fair kicks off in late April, followed by the Taichung International Travel Fair and the Taipei International Tourism Expo at the end of April and early May respectively. Many hotels are offering promotional deals to provide travelers with accommodation options for summer trips.

1. Evergreen Laurel Hotel
Evergreen Laurel Hotel in Jiaoxi is launching an online travel fair promotion from now until May 10. Customers who spend over NT$12,000 in a single transaction before April 25 will receive two additional SPA vouchers worth NT$1,600 each. Accommodation vouchers include options for one night with one or two meals, each discounted by NT$400 compared to previous years. Purchasing five two-meal accommodation vouchers in a single transaction will earn you a suite upgrade voucher, equivalent to a 48% discount off the market price.
 
In addition to accommodation vouchers, the slow-life SPA hot spring package vouchers have seen a price drop of up to 23.2%. Buying one set comes with a complimentary NT$900 rock bath experience voucher. The five-star slow-life SPA plus a lunch voucher for the Laureate Buffet Restaurant, originally priced at NT$1,769, is now available for NT$999 per voucher, with a buy 10 get 1 free offer.

2. Lihir Tourism
Lihir Tourism’s hotel chain is holding an online travel fair promotion from now until May 15. The lowest discount on combined accommodation vouchers is 21% off. Customers who purchase 5 vouchers in a single transaction will receive one free room upgrade voucher; those who purchase 10 will also receive one travel fair combined accommodation gift voucher and one free weekend stay voucher. Combined accommodation vouchers can be used at any of the group’s hotels nationwide—just present a weekday voucher to book a basic double room. 

Holders of vouchers who check in at Kenting Pavilion’s deluxe double room from November to March will enjoy a premium stay for one night with two buffet breakfasts, plus an extra night’s stay, equivalent to a 21% discount. For stays from April to June and August to September, voucher holders can upgrade to a “deluxe family room” for one night with four buffet breakfasts, equivalent to a 33% discount.

3. Yunlong Tourism
An online travel fair has been launched, with the most attractive deal being the collaboration between Han boutique Hotel Hualien and Mandarin Airlines—an “airfare + hotel” package for direct flights from Taichung and Kaohsiung to Hualien. Weekday stays for two people start at NT$6,598 for one night, equivalent to a 32% discount off the original price. Additionally, combined accommodation vouchers are priced at NT$2,500 each and can be freely combined with any Yunlong Tourism Group hotel.

For Han Boutique Hotel Kaohsiung, there are special meal vouchers available, including options for a three-person dim sum meal or a two-person Japanese cuisine meal, each priced at NT$999, equivalent to a 47% discount.

4. Ambassador Hotel
Ambassador Hotel’s online travel fair kicks off from now until April 23, featuring three properties in Taipei, Hsinchu, and Kaohsiung. Among them, the Roast Duck Trio Coupon at Ambassador Jiulou Chinese Restaurant in Hsinchu is offered at a special rate of NT$10,495 for five coupons, along with a buy 10 get 1 free offer on buffet vouchers at Ambassador Kaohsiung. 

Additionally, combined accommodation vouchers are available both online and on-site, priced at NT$3,200 each, allowing one-night stays at any one of the Taipei, Hsinchu, or Kaohsiung properties. Purchasing five vouchers comes with a NT$500 discount coupon. There is also a bundled accommodation voucher set of 11 vouchers for NT$32,000, which is equivalent to buy 10 get 1 free, and also includes one room upgrade.
