Breathtaking night skies over Taiwan's top four stargazing campsites

In recent years, the camping trend has taken off, with a growing variety of unique campgrounds—ranging from those boasting stunning landscapes to high-end luxury glamping options—that attract many travelers. Below is a list of campsites featuring stargazing tents in shapes like bubbles and triangles. Their tent tops offer unobstructed views of the starry night skies, creating a romantic and enchanting experience.

1. Bali Cultural Park Campsite
Located in Bali, New Taipei City, the Bali Cultural Park Campsite features dreamy transparent bubble tents that allow you to get up close with nature. At night, you can gaze at the starry skies. The site promotes a blend of camping and light travel, offering 24 campsites in total—20 bubble tents and 4 grass pitches—with complete water, electricity, and bathroom facilities.

Nearby attractions include the Wazihwei Nature Reserve, Bali Old Street, and the Sanxia History Museum. You can also take a blue highway ferry to explore Tamsui Old Street, Aletheia University, Fisherman’s Wharf, Lover’s Bridge, and Fort San Domingo on the other side.

2. Hamoana Stargazing tent
The Hamoana Stargazing Tent in Alishan, Chiayi, features two glass-built stargazing domes. During the day, you can enjoy panoramic mountain views, and at night, you can marvel at the star-filled sky. It’s a perfect place to unwind and feel like you’re in a hidden paradise.

The stargazing tents have a triangular green exterior that complements Alishan’s scenery. The glass windows offer views of the Tsou people’s sacred Mount Tata, and the interiors are well-equipped with warm beds and down quilts, as well as bathrooms where you can soak in a bath while stargazing.
