The first campus store of PX Mart opens with smart devices like Pepper robots!

PX Mart enters campuses, with its first campus store—the Xinzhuang Fu Jen University branch—opening on April 18th. It introduces Pepper robots to provide product introductions for the first time, enhancing the overall service at the store.

The PX Mart Fu Jen University branch has especially incorporated smart devices to make purchasing and picking up goods more convenient for students. Additionally, it features Pepper robots for the first time. Pepper is PX Mart’s first robot assistant clerk capable of interacting with customers in Taiwanese Hokkien. It calls out near the fresh produce section to attract attention—not only recommending and introducing popular products but also acting as a pitchman.

The Xinzhuang Fu Jen University branch also includes a pharmacy that dispenses prescriptions, offering prescription medications, OTC drugs (over-the-counter medicines), and health supplements. In response to the curriculum needs of Fu Jen’s College of Humanities, including its Department of Food Science, Department of Hospitality Management, and Department of Nutritional Science, PX Mart has also provided space for students to conduct related research and encourages them to submit creative proposals to improve store operations.
