The Tainan City Government’s Tourism Bureau, in collaboration with the Tourism Service Center of the Tourism Bureau under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, has partnered with 40 local Tainan hotels to jointly launch the “Come to Tainan in May – Stay 2 Nights, Second Night Free & Get Amazing Flight Deals” campaign. As long as you stay at one of the participating 40 hotels during the campaign period and complete the specified actions, you’ll have the chance to win one of 25 prizes including round-trip flights between Tainan and Osaka, Tainan and Hong Kong, as well as accommodation vouchers. You’ll also enjoy additional special offers from 45 local Tainan businesses including food and souvenir shops, leisure farms, and tourist factories — making it the perfect time to experience Tainan’s rich cultural sights and lifestyle.

In 2017, the Tainan City Government partnered with 23 local hotel operators for the first time to launch the “Come to Tainan in May – Stay 2 Nights, Second Night Free” campaign on weekdays, which received an enthusiastic response from tourists. This year, they’ve once again gathered the city’s two major hotel associations and 40 hotel operators for the event. Not only can visitors enjoy the great value of staying two consecutive weekdays for the price of one, but they also have the opportunity to win round-trip flights to destinations such as Japan and Hong Kong. Aside from visiting Tainan on weekends, weekdays offer a more relaxed pace to explore and appreciate the beauty of Tainan.
