Here I am visiting Lu’er Wanwan for the second time~ I was totally drawn here by these matcha desserts. The brunch spot I had originally planned to visit was instantly swapped out for this one, so let’s check out the food I tried this time right away!

The dining environment is quite bright and comfortable. There’s also a small illustration exhibition where you can enjoy adorable artworks. I didn’t take many photos this time since it’s my second visit — just snapped a casual shot. There are little cloud decorations inside that reminded me of Taipei’s Daydream, but I didn’t manage to capture them in the photo (you know what I mean — a bittersweet moment!)

Authentic Spicy Sichuan Chicken Burger $90, add-on hand-cut fries for $29.

This burger isn’t a small portion at all. They fry up an entire chicken leg and pair it with Thai-style spicy sesame sauce. The fries on the side are savory, fluffy, and really tasty.

They also thoughtfully provide a paper bag to hold the burger, making it easier to eat. Taking a big bite of this savory Thai-spiced chicken burger, the chicken is crispy outside and tender inside, perfectly matched with the lettuce. It has a bit of spiciness and a faint kick, which is quite appetizing and really filling.

Pani Pani / HOLA Mexican Spicy Chicken $95, the gridded-patterned Pani Pani is packed with rich fillings. When you take a bite, the spiciness of the Mexican spicy chicken is pretty noticeable, though not overwhelmingly hot. It’s a bold-flavored Pani Pani, richly savory and full of flavor, plus a generous amount of gooey cheese. Spicy and delicious!

This chubby buddy came here just for this~ Matcha lovers just have to keep trying different kinds of matcha, right? (Kind of an obsession!)
Dear Watanabe Naomi $130

The plump, round shape strung into two skewers is just so cute~ This whole matcha dessert is seriously photogenic. There’s also a little card that comes with it, which is adorable.

Open the little card and you’ll find an introduction to the dessert~ If you’re curious, you can read about how it got its name. You can dip it in a bit of matcha sauce. Overall, it’s not overly sweet, with a subtle creamy and velvety flavor like a financier. The outer layer is slightly crispy, while the inside is dense and a bit chewy. Matcha lovers should definitely give this a try Up~ The shape is super cute. So I ate Watanabe Naomi’s belly!! I alone polished off five of those round bellies, and my own tummy got pretty round too.

Matcha Cream / I $85, for matcha lovers who want everything matcha-flavored — a bit excessive, XD. It tastes like a refined blend of light matcha fragrance and milk, and it’s actually quite enjoyable.
