Tigerair Taiwan today announced that to add joy to the festive season, it is launching a special Christmas promotion this week. Passengers who purchase round-trip tickets for any of the following routes — Taoyuan–Tokyo Haneda, Taoyuan–Nagoya, Taoyuan–Daegu, Taoyuan–Sendai, or Kaohsiung–Tokyo Narita — may have the chance to book their tickets at a promotional price of just NT$999 (excluding tax) for the return leg. Sales start at 10:00 AM on the 23rd.

Tigerair Taiwan stated that the Christmas promotion will run from 10:00 AM on December 23, 2016, to 11:59 PM on December 26, 2016. Passengers who purchase round-trip tickets for any of the following routes — Taoyuan–Tokyo Haneda, Taoyuan–Nagoya, Taoyuan–Daegu, Taoyuan–Sendai, or Kaohsiung–Tokyo Narita — can take advantage of this limited-time offer. The travel period for this promotion is from January 1, 2017, to April 30, 2017. Travelers are advised to prepare passport details (valid for at least six months) and a credit card to book onTigerair Taiwan’s official website.

Tigerair Taiwan noted that late December is when many office workers use up their annual leave, and with the three-day Christmas holiday followed closely by the three-day New Year’s holiday, the year-end travel market has received a significant boost. In addition, early next year (2017) there are also Lunar New Year holidays, 228 Memorial Day holidays, and Qingming Festival holidays. With so many breaks, many people have already started planning their holiday schedules for the beginning of the year and are making arrangements for overseas trips.
