The Doumai Pond in Daxi District is a popular Instagram-worthy hidden spot, where the beautiful lake scenery resembles a painting, attracting many netizens to take photos.

Doumai Pond resembles a fairytale-like landscape of mountains and water, surrounded by hills, with the clear reflections of emerald-green woods in the lake. Depending on the time and angle, you can capture different hues of water. The stunning scenery has even been called a miniature version of Cloud Mountain Water by netizens.

The area is planted with flowers and trees such as cherry blossoms, bougainvillea, and century-old Gastonia trees, and the ecological environment is quite rich. From time to time, water birds like egrets and wild ducks can be seen swimming on the water’s surface. It’s a great place for visitors to enjoy a tranquil atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. Nearby, there is also the Doumai Private Kitchen restaurant, which uses vegetables from its own garden, as well as free-range mountain chickens raised on corn and millet.
