A Sea of Colorful Calla Lilies Blooms: Check Out the 8 Must-Photograph Scenic Spots

The 2018 Taoyuan Colorful Calla Lily Festival will take place from March 10 to March 25, romantically unfolding at the intersection of Shengde North Road and Tianxi Road in Dayuan District. Visitors can enjoy the flowers free of charge. This year’s calla lily festival is themed “Romantic Calla Lily Garden,” featuring a colorful array of calla lilies, a stunning bridal fashion show, a Little Flower Girl competition, a grand traditional Chinese wedding ceremony, a musical performance titled “Floral Sounds of Happiness,” various floral-themed mini tours, hands-on DIY activities, lectures by young farmers, VR experiences, and more. Additionally, the event collaborates with local flower farmers, businesses in the Xihai Leisure Agriculture Area, as well as renowned Taoyuan-based wedding and pastry vendors.

This year’s Colorful Calla Lily Festival has three major exhibition areas: the Romantic Garden Exhibition Area, the Happy Secret Garden Exhibition Area, and the Creative Garden Exhibition Area. There are also eight large romantic installations where visitors can take photos with the art while enjoying the blossoms.

1. Entrance Installation
Inspired by the local floral characteristics of Dayuan and the main theme of the event, this installation uses the concept of a photo frame to showcase the Taoyuan Colorful Calla Lily Festival. It also serves as a perfect photo spot for couples to create lasting memories.

2. Sweet Blessings – Creative Garden Exhibition Area
Two graceful swans gaze lovingly at each other, symbolizing a lifetime together, forming a heart-shaped archway. The area is adorned with lollipop installations and floral carpets, wishing everyone who passes through the arch a sweet and happy life.
