First in Northern Taiwan: Sushiro’s Japanese-style kura (earthen storehouse) roadside shop is eye-catching

The well-known conveyor belt sushi brand Sushiro has gained immense popularity among foodies since opening stores in Taiwan, with new branches popping up rapidly. Previously, the first-ever unique Japanese-style “kura”-themed roadside shop in Taiwan was launched in Taichung, sparking enthusiastic responses from netizens and customers, prompting the decision to transplant this distinctive roadside architecture to Northern Taiwan. It is set to open as the “Sanchong Jixian Road Store” in the Sanchong-Luzhou area, with an expected debut in early April this year—much to everyone's anticipation.

The traditional Japanese “kura” architectural design of the shop offers not only spacious interior space but also dedicated parking spots for diners. This enhances the comfort and convenience of enjoying meals, while also eliminating the hassle of finding parking for drivers. The striking exterior appearance also makes the entire shop a prime spot for photos that give off the vibe of being in a foreign country.

Sushiro maintains strict standards for the deliciousness of its cuisine, service quality, and shop interiors, making it a highly sought-after sushi brand in recent years. Every branch is often packed with long lines, and reservations are sometimes required to dine there. The uniquely designed Sanchong Jixian Road Store is about to open and is expected to become one of Sushiro’s latest popular branches.
