A rare cherry blossom hotspot where you can't see these flowers elsewhere – a spectacular bloom of tens of thousands of trees

Located at the boundary between Fenyuan Township in Changhua and Wuri District in Taichung, the Fenyuan Flower Leisure Park became a popular cherry blossom spot in central Taiwan a few years ago due to its rare weeping cherry blossoms. Spanning 5 hectares, the cherry blossom garden features a 150-meter-long cherry blossom tunnel. The park is home to various types of cherry blossoms such as yaezakura, weeping cherry, purple cherry, and Kawazu-zakura, with flowers in varying shades of color creating an incredibly vibrant scene. The park is even free to enter, which has helped fuel the cherry blossom craze.

With cherry blossoms in the park blooming progressively and reaching full bloom, visitors eager to admire them should seize the opportunity. Here, you can enjoy the rare beauty of cherry blossoms without having to go to Japan – they can be seen right by the Wu River. In addition, the park also organizes night cherry blossom viewing events. The 150-meter cherry blossom tunnel is beautifully illuminated under LED lights. There are also food stalls, cherry blossom planting activities, and weekend street performances.
