The Christmas event in Yuanlin brings love to life through acts of kindness.

As the Christmas atmosphere grows stronger, not only hotels, department stores, and shopping districts have lit up decorations and put up Christmas trees, but this year the Yuanlin Township Office has also organized a series of Christmas season events, inviting the public to explore Changhua and show care for the local community while spreading love.

Following last year’s debut of a heartwarming and gratitude-filled Christmas tree decorated by the Yuanlin Township Office in front of the square, this year they have invited various churches to join in organizing Christmas care activities. These include a charity bazaar fun fair, a Christmas street carnival, and a Christmas charity dinner for the homeless, along with performances by well-known singers. With Christmas just around the corner, the Yuanlin Township Office has begun decorating with bright red poinsettias, allowing this symbol of warmth and cheer to accompany the public in celebrating a holiday of gratitude and contentment.

The first event of the Yuanlin Christmas series will kick off at 9:00 AM on December 12th at Yuanlin Railway Square with the “2009 Christmas Carnival – Let Love Move” charity bazaar fun fair. The second event will be held at 6:00 PM on December 19th at Yuanlin Park for the “2009 Caring for the Community with Love” Christmas Night & Street Carnival, featuring performances by various churches, the Yuanlin Town Choir, and renowned singer Hong Ronghong. The final event is the “2009 Charity Dinner for the Homeless,” which will take place on December 26th at Yuanlin Park.

The Yuanlin Township Office welcomes this meaningful holiday with the themes of “care, gratitude, and joy.” The series of events center around love and welcome the public to visit Changhua for a festival filled with blessings and thankfulness.
