Simply visit the Haitian Pavilion on the Bitou Cape Trail, Longdong Bay Park, or Longdong Four Seasons Bay during public holidays from April 10 to May 2, collect three event stamps, and you’ll receive an exclusive, beautifully crafted “2010 Bitou Cape Spring Hike” souvenir. You might even win a high-end foldable bike from Giant to take home.

During the public holiday period of the “2010 Bitou Cape Spring Hike” event, a free shuttle bus service is available from Fulong Visitor Center to Bitou Elementary School (first bus departs at 08:20). Visitors are advised to take the train to Fulong Station and then transfer to the shuttle bus to reach stops such as the Aodi Seafood Street, Longdong Four Seasons Bay, and Longdong Bay Park—destinations highly recommended for an insightful spring hiking experience. The Northeast Coast Scenic Area offers several well-marked and safe trails, including Bitou Cape, Longdong Bay Cape, Taoyuan Valley, and the Grass Mountain Ancient Trail, all surrounded by gorgeous scenery, making them perfect spots for leisurely walks and hikes.

While admiring the mountain and sea views of the Northeast Coast, don’t forget to enjoy a cup of coffee. The scenic area is dotted with unique cafés, many of which are situated along the coastline—so while sipping your coffee, you’ll be treated to magnificent coastal vistas. In this beautiful season of blooming flowers, aside from exploring the Bitou Cape Trail in search of wild lilies, sipping coffee with ocean views, don’t miss out on the “famous up north and down south” seafood of Aodi, or embark on a cycling adventure through the Old Caoling Tunnel, where surprises await at every turn.

During the “2010 Bitou Cape Spring Hike” event, the “Taiwan Good to Go” seamless shuttle service is being specially promoted. Free shuttle buses are arranged to encourage the use of public transportation.
