New Year's Eve revelry without pause — six restaurants at Uni-President Songgao and ShinYi stay open until midnight

As 2017 approaches, the annual New Year's Eve evening sees crowded streets packed with people, turning the Xinyi District into an impassable sea of humanity. Located in the same district, Uni-President Songgao and Uni-President ShinYi feature a total of six restaurants that will stay open until the early hours of the next morning on New Year's Eve, with the latest closing time at 2:00 AM, offering an alternative option for those who wish to avoid the crowds.

At Uni-President Songgao, 4F’s Zhuanmen Craft Beer offers a spacious area that can accommodate 500 people. Food service runs from 22:00 to 01:30 on December 31 (Saturday), and tickets priced under NT$1,000 have sold out 95%, available only while stocks last. Texas Roadhouse and TRINE&ZEN have also launched special New Year's Eve set menus. Early reservations for New Year’s Eve meals allow guests to enjoy fireworks up close at the 4F Sky Garden. Meanwhile, B2F’s newly opened DooBoo Korean Cuisine offers a recommended 3-person New Year’s Eve set menu for NT$1,318.

At Uni-President ShinYi, the high-floor restaurant on the 45th floor, Marumoto, has specially invited DJ ALLEN, a rising star under Ivan Monster, ensuring that all diners can soak in the lively New Year atmosphere. The New Year’s set menu at Marumoto is NT$5,000 + 10% per person. Taipei 47, known for its exceptional cuisine, doesn’t disappoint either, offering an unlimited supply of premium champagne — Perrier-Jouët — and a live band performance as part of its 2017 Fireworks Night set menu. Dining begins at 21:00 for NT$5,080 + 10% per person.
