Next year marks the centennial of the founding of the nation. The Tourism Bureau under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has specially built the “Travel Taiwan '100 Heartfelt Experiences’” website and produced promotional short videos to promote the core ideas of tourism marketing. It also invites all citizens to join in the “100 Heartfelt Travel Routes,” travel across Taiwan together, and experience 100% heartfelt emotion. By sharing feedback online or taking part in activities, the public even has a chance to drive a car worth NT$800,000 home!

The “100 Heartfelt Travel Routes” are themed around Taiwan’s top 10 travel elements, integrating services and resources such as food, transportation, shopping, accommodation, souvenirs, and travel information. First, experts selected 100 travel routes, which were then opened up for the public to personally experience and share their opinions, photos, and reflections, making the content of the heartfelt travel routes even more enriching.
In addition to providing feedback on the itineraries and content of the 100 routes on the “Travel Taiwan '100 Heartfelt Experiences’” website, the public can also share blog travel notes, photos, videos, and other records. To encourage public participation, multiple online events have been launched starting today. By simply sharing content online or joining in the activities, participants can earn bonus points redeemable for gifts or entries into lucky draws. On August 1st, the “Everyone Plays +, Drive a Car Home” event will begin — the top 200 participants who accumulate the most bonus points will have a chance to drive a car home.

To visually capture greater attention, the Tourism Bureau specially created an advertising short film based on the concept of “Seeing Taiwan from a Different Angle.” Using aerial filming equipment of the highest Hollywood movie standards, the video captures Taiwan from above, offering a 3D spatial perspective and angles that are rarely experienced by the general public. The score was also specially composed for the film by music producers, aiming to deliver a unique emotional experience and invite the public to appreciate Taiwan’s beautiful mountains and waters.
