A grand hike in the Rocky Mountains to see salmon, enjoy fall foliage, and stay in a castle hotel

The “Canada Rocky Mountains Grand Salmon Hike 10-Day Tour” will take you to some of Canada’s most beautiful national parks, including Yoho National Park, Banff National Park, and Jasper National Park. During the fall foliage season, you’ll be completely immersed in these breathtaking natural landscapes and wildlife. The itinerary includes a special cable car ride up Sulphur Mountain in Banff National Park to an elevation of 2,450 meters, offering a panoramic view of the entire town, followed by a hike to the summit’s triangulation point for sweeping views of world-class scenery. The tour also ventures onto the world’s most beautiful “Icefields Parkway.” Upon entering Jasper National Park, you’ll ride the world’s only 16-unit “Snow Coach,” exclusive to Canada, taking you onto the Athabasca Glacier to witness the awe-inspiring confluence of ancient glacial meltwaters.
Beyond the national park attractions, the tour will also visit the Adams River north of Kamloops for salmon viewing and hiking. Stretching 12 kilometers, the Adams River is one of the best spots for salmon watching, serving not only as the endpoint of the salmon migration in British Columbia, Canada, but also the birthplace of the prized “Sockeye Salmon.” The Adams River Salmon Society holds a grand “Salute to the Sockeye” event every four years. Based on the 2006 migration numbers, this year you can expect to witness over 3 million salmon swimming upstream, mating, laying eggs, and completing their life cycle in this miraculous process.
