The most representative bike path embodying the harbor city vibe in Kaohsiung is the Xilin Port Bike Path. Originally an unremarkable old railway line that had been abandoned for a long time and gradually forgotten by residents, the thoughtful redevelopment by the Kaohsiung City Government has completely revitalized it. Not only is the route smooth and well-maintained, but the views during both day and night are equally captivating.

While leisurely cycling, you’ll pass by Starlight Harbor, Glory Harbor, True Love Harbor, Pier-2 Art Center, and Fisherman’s Wharf in sequence. The total length is currently about 1,260 meters, but it is still being continuously expanded, extending southward to Gushan Hamasen, Shiziwan, Shoushan, and Gushan Ferry Terminal. In the future, the total length will reach five kilometers, allowing even more people to come and freely "roam" the area.

True Love Harbor, Starlight Harbor, and other scenic spots featuring sea and river views are among the most beloved spots for visitors. Watching the boats floating along the shore offers a glimpse into the bustling past of this harbor city. As evening falls, the softly glowing lights add a romantic atmosphere. The interplay of light with steel structures resembling masts and sails, along with bridges shining beautifully, also served as one of the filming locations for the drama "Black & White."

Pier-2 Art Center refers to the second ferry terminal, which was originally a large warehouse by the port. It has now been transformed into an art exhibition space, frequently hosting installations and performance events. It is a vibrant and diverse artistic venue.
