Experience the profound beauty of Taitung – the Taitung Sustainability Expo kicks off on August 21!

What’s your first impression of Taitung? Agricultural products or hot springs? The Taitung Sustainability Expo will change your perspective. The Taitung County Government has coordinated with tourism, aviation, and railway operators to plan this annual event. Alongside activities such as a thousand-person bike ride, an expo inaugural tour group, golden needle flower fields, and expert photography tours, the first wave alone will spark a tourism boom of thousands, allowing visitors from all over to experience the in-depth beauty of Taitung.

Taitung is the most beautiful backyard garden of Taiwan.

The Taitung Sustainability Expo integrates the concepts of “embedding sustainability into daily life” and “bringing creative elements into industry.” From August 21 for a month-long run at the Railway Art Village, it features rich exhibitions, lively performances of traditional indigenous songs and dances, authentic local specialty fairs, as well as DIY craft areas. It also offers the Taitung Travel Passport, green seamless services, and free shuttle buses from Zhiben to the Expo site — making it easy for the public to get started and work together toward a sustainable living environment.

The Taitung Expo lets the public see a different side of Taitung.

In addition, during the exhibition period, there’s a weekly Green Living Gift Draw, with bicycles given away every Saturday and Sunday, encouraging eco-friendly travel in Taitung. This summer, escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy Taitung’s pristine natural surroundings!
