"Creative Taipei Highlights" — Capture your vision of creative Taipei - HowToTrip

Directed by Chinese-American filmmaker Arvin Chen, the Taiwanese film "Au Revoir Taipei" successfully showcases Taipei in a unique light. But what does Taipei look like in your imagination? To encourage public participation and integrate design concepts and thinking into daily life, the Taipei City Government is hosting the lead-up event to Design Month, the "‘Creative Taipei Highlights’ Photography Competition." Online registration is open now until September 20.

The area around Taipei Normal University is home to many international students, giving rise to a wealth of restaurants offering exotic flavors, creating a uniquely diverse Taipei landscape.

To position Taipei as an international design capital, the Taipei City Government’s Department of Economic Development commissioned the Taiwan Design Center to implement the "Taipei Creative and Design Industry Development Plan." Through six series of activities — including the "Taipei Design Capital Workshop," "Selection of Benchmark Demonstration Products or Services," "Taipei Design Month," "Taipei Industrial Design Award," "Shaping Characteristic Industry Clusters," and "Business Opportunity Matching" — the plan injects both hardware and software innovation and design momentum into the city.
