The annual "Ride the Northeast Coast - Fulong Cycling Adventure" event is set to kick off on September 18th and run until October 10th. In addition to the bike ride and gift exchange, this year features many thoughtful activities, including a "Two Rails Go Together" enhanced experience on the "Gongliao–Neiliao" route, a "Tunnel Concert," and the "Cycling & Me, 100% Healthy" photo campaign where participants can win attractive prizes by taking pictures with the designated event backdrop.
The event has planned three classic routes totaling approximately 20 kilometers: the "Dongxing Temple Route" (one way about 1 km), the "Fulong Yanliao Route" (one way about 4.5 km), and the "Old Caoling Tunnel Route" (one way about 4.5 km). Completing all three routes takes about 2 to 3 hours. To promote the concept of eco-friendly leisure sports, the organizer and Giant have specially arranged a 30-kilometer exploration route—"Gongliao–Neiliao Line"—on September 18 (Sat), 19 (Sun), 25 (Sat), and 26 (Sun) for cyclists to explore additional scenic spots beyond the three main routes.
During the event, the organizer has partnered with Taiwan Railways to operate a special "Two Rails Go Together" shuttle train (departing from Wanhua Station at 07:00 on event days), encouraging the public to bring their bikes and take the train to Fulong, or cycle around Fulong after arriving by train—combining rail and bike for an eco-friendly trip.
Additionally, to encourage visitors to actively participate in the "Fulong Cycling Adventure" and take commemorative photos, the organizer has launched the "Cycling & Me, 100% Healthy" photo campaign. From September 18, 19, 22, 25, 26, October 2, 3, 9, and 10, participants can take three photos of people and bikes forming the number 100 against the backdrops of three scenic spots—Guishan Island, Longmen Suspension Bridge, and Dongxing Temple. Bring the photos to a designated location for staff verification and receive a nice gift.
