Search for "Grandma's Penghu Bay" – vote for the most memorable scenic spot!
"The evening breeze gently blows over Penghu Bay, white waves chase the sandy shore, no coconut groves adorn the setting sun, just boundless blue sea..." Have you been to Penghu? The Penghu National Scenic Area was established in 1991 (the 80th year of the Republic of China) and will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2011 (the 100th year of the Republic of China). To revive the public's memory of the beautiful scenery in the classic folk song "Grandma's Penghu Bay," an online voting campaign titled "Search for Penghu Bay" has been launched, inviting everyone to vote for their most beautiful "Penghu Bay." Participants also have a chance to win supermarket gift vouchers.

Penghu boasts a long coastline with numerous natural harbors, creating many beautiful sandy shores. As such, pristine beaches and azure waters have always been among the most cherished memories for visitors. The "Search for Penghu Bay" online voting campaign has shortlisted seven representative beaches for the public to vote on: Shanshui Beach, Liujia Beach, Lindao-Aimen Beach, Guanyin Pavilion Seaside, Jibei Sand Tail, Pengpeng Shoal, and Wang'an Shore. These beaches are located across Magong Island, Beihai, and the outlying islands of Nanhai, each with its own unique charm.

The voting period runs from now until December 10, 2011 (the 99th year of the Republic of China). Show your support for your favorite Penghu Bay online. Participants have a chance to win a NT$300 supermarket voucher, with 50 prizes up for grabs. Everyone
