Seoul Yangnyeongsi Market is the most representative herbal medicine trading hub in South Korea, accounting for 70% of the nation’s total herbal medicine transactions. The market houses over 1,000 shops including Korean medicine clinics, herbal medicine stores, and pharmacies. A wide variety of herbs are delivered directly from their places of origin, resulting in competitive prices and an extensive selection. Since its beginnings with just 20 shops in the early 1960s, Seoul Yangnyeongsi Market has expanded to surpass the 350-year-old Daegu Yangnyeongsi Market in scale.
