The Northeastern Hot Spring Season Invites You to Explore Jinshan

Autumn is the perfect time for a hot spring soak. The “2010 Jinshan 'Wanli ' Bali ' Wulai Hot Spring Season,” now in its fourth year, will officially begin on November 13. This year, a special sightseeing bus shuttle service has been introduced. On Saturdays and Sundays during the event period from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, you can take a free shuttle bus from the Jinshan Old Street Parking Lot or the Wulai Terminal of Xinbei Bus to various hot spring areas. Buses run approximately every 30 minutes. Enjoy soaking in the hot springs while visiting scenic spots such as Yehliu Geopark, the Ocean World, and the Chu Wei Art Museum (in the Jinshan-Wanli area), or explore the Neidong Forest Recreation Area and Yunxian Amusement Park (in the Wulai area).

Hot springs have always been a favorite among people during the autumn and winter seasons, helping to relieve stress and benefit both body and mind.

The event will continue until December 20. From weekdays (Monday to Friday) between November 15 and December 10, you can also sign up for the “Leisurely One-Day Trip to the North Coast – Hot Spring Season Special.” The original price of 399 NTD remains unchanged, and the organizer, the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration, will additionally provide one free hot spring coupon. The tour route is: Taipei → Yehliu Geopark → Free Hot Spring Soak → Jinkouli Old Street → Shimen Wedding Square → Baishawan → Sanzhi Celebrity Cultural Museum and Fude Waterwheel Park → Return to Taipei via Tamsui. Registration opens on November 11. Each session will depart with a minimum of 30 participants, and sign-ups are processed in the order they are received on the website. This year, around 60 hot spring hotels and resorts are enthusiastically participating in the Hot Spring Season. Depending on their business type, they are offering promotions such as “Buy One Get One Free for Hot Springs,” “Dining and Soaking Packages for Two,” “Free Hot Spring with Meal,” and “Secret Code Bonuses.” The organizers have also launched a “Stamp Collection Raffle for Big Prizes” campaign. By picking up an event brochure from local township/city offices or tourist service centers in northern Taiwan or downloading the raffle entry form online, you can join a raffle with prizes worth over 300,000 NTD in total. The grand prize is gold jewelry worth 50,000 NTD, along with other exciting prizes including digital single-lens reflex cameras, stylish suitcases, satellite navigation GPS devices, hot spring accommodation vouchers, digital photo frames, and more than 50 other valuable items.
