The Malaysian Food Festival runs from November 9 to 14. Dishes are personally prepared by five-star chefs, showcasing genuine Malaysian cuisine. Highlights include squid salad with lemongrass, lemon, and honey dressing, as well as pineapple, cucumber, and onion salad. Famous Malaysian dishes such as satay, various meat skewers, and Indian roti prata are also on the menu, each paired with specially crafted sauces for an unforgettable flavor. Other main courses include spicy Malaysian chicken, spiced Malaysian beef stew, traditional Langkawi noodles served with egg rolls and thick spicy soup, curry chicken with potato stew, and turmeric-infused steamed rice. For dessert, don’t miss the sago pudding cooked with coconut milk, along with grilled bananas topped with palm syrup and coconut cream. Finally, the meal is perfectly rounded off with traditional Malaysian kuih (cakes) and teh tarik (pulled tea), completing the full Malaysian dining experience.
While enjoying the delicious food, visitors can watch 30-minute traditional Malaysian dance performances presented daily by the Petaling Jaya Dance Troupe at 12:30 PM and 7:00 PM. Additionally, participants have a chance to win a five-day, four-night trip to Malaysia or a NT$5,000 voucher for flight bookings. Come and test your luck.
