The 8th Taiwan Design Expo is about to begin. Taiwan’s largest annual design event will take place from December 11 to 19, 99 (2010), this year at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, and remains free of charge. Interested visitors are encouraged to check it out.

This edition takes “Good Intentions” as its exhibition theme, featuring 10 pavilions that allow visitors to not only explore the beautifully historic architecture of the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park but also witness the goodness of Taiwanese design, the authenticity of designers, and experience how design driven by good intentions can care for our shared living environment. With rich and diverse content, the exhibition promises an exciting experience.
The “Annual Theme Pavilion” continues the spirit of the 2009 expo, inviting 51 designers from various fields in Taiwan to interpret the theme “Good Intentions” through their exquisite products, guiding the public to feel the essence of thoughtful design. In addition, the Golden Pin Design Award-winning products, representing the vitality and energy of Taiwan’s industry, will be displayed in a high-quality, interactive way that lets visitors appreciate the excellence and aesthetics of these designs.

And every year’s much-anticipated highlight: the energetic and passionate design community, who this year will bring the latest and trendiest creativity—absolutely unmissable. There will also be fresh design offerings from Japan, Germany, France, and the UK, giving everyone a glimpse into the newest design trends across the global village. The exhibition hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays (Monday to Thursday) and from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM on weekends (Friday to Sunday).
