Ngong Ping 360 has introduced new discounted prices in December, effective from December 1. To celebrate Christmas, from 2010/12/01 to 2011/1/31, every adult passenger can receive two child tickets, aiming to attract families to celebrate the holiday season together at Ngong Ping 360.
Ngong Ping 360 has launched new discounted prices and is hosting the “Ngong Ping 360 Snowy Christmas” for the first time.
Meanwhile, Ngong Ping 360 will host the “Ngong Ping 360 Snowy Christmas” for the first time, featuring artificial snowfall and colorful Christmas decorations. Additionally, as the Year of the Rabbit approaches, the “360 Rabbit Year Pass” will be launched, offering unlimited free round-trip standard cable car rides from 2011/2/3 to 2012/1/22. The promotional price is HK$360 and it will be on sale from 2011/2/3 to 2011/2/17. Starting from 2010/12/1, the cable car fare will be adjusted to HK$115 for adults (round trip) and HK$169 for adults (Crystal Cabin round trip).
The Ngong Ping Cable Car connects Tung Chung Town Centre on Lantau Island with Ngong Ping, spanning a total length of 5.7 kilometers. It utilizes a safe and reliable double-cable system, the first of its kind in Hong Kong. The journey begins at the Tung Chung Cable Car Station, crosses Tung Chung Bay, arrives at the turning station on Airport Island, then makes a 60-degree turn back over Tung Chung Bay towards North Lantau.
Ngong Ping 360 will launch the “360 Rabbit Year Pass,” available for purchase starting 2011/2/3.
As the cable car approaches the Ngong Ping Cable Car Station and the “Ngong Ping Village,” the majestic Big Buddha comes into view. Upon disembarking at the Ngong Ping Cable Car Station, you can walk to the “Ngong Ping Village,” which features a variety of tourist attractions, shops, restaurants, and entertainment facilities. Just a five-minute walk from the village leads to the Big Buddha.
