A job that lets you sleep in 52 carefully selected hotels across Taiwan every week, all year round—total value up to NT$250,000, with a monthly travel allowance of NT$10,000, plus becoming a travel expert. Such an amazing opportunity is truly enticing. After two months of preliminary registration, shortlisting, and trial stays, 13 finalists were selected from an initial pool of 450 contestants through online popularity and professional judging by the ace panel. From December 7 to December 20, these finalists will present their carefully crafted works for public evaluation, with the ultimate winner decided by Facebook likes from the general public.

Lion Travel has partnered with 13 renowned hotel operators for the first time to launch Taiwan’s first “Ace Sleep Tester Selection Campaign,” aiming to find individuals with a refined appreciation for pleasure, exceptional writing skills, and strong influence to help promote Taiwan’s high-quality hotel dining and accommodation experiences.

Within just two weeks of the campaign’s official website going live, over 330 submissions have been received. The competition for the Ace Sleep Tester position is fierce, attracting participants from all walks of life and various age groups. Applicants range from 19 to 42 years old, with the majority between 20 and 30 who already have work experience. Professions vary widely, including students, fresh graduates, insurance agents, hotel and F&B management personnel, service staff, engineers, flight attendants, funeral directors, civil servants, retired military officers, police officers, journalists, and more—showcasing the campaign’s immense popularity.

The finalists include a psychologist, designer, finance professional, publishing industry expert, tourism worker, office lady, full-time gamer, popular blogger with millions of followers, tech industry elite, graduate student, a Taiwan-savvy dad, and even a “motel madam” who quit her job to focus on enjoyment.

Lion Travel’s first-ever Ace Sleep Tester Selection Campaign has received enthusiastic responses from numerous high-quality and distinctive hotels, including: Beitou Spring Hotel, Taipei Mu Lan Boutique Hotel, Taipei City Inn, Taichung Valley Resort, Taichung Arti Hotel, Nantou Crystal Springs Resort, Taoyuan Southern Mansion, Kaohsiung Grand Formosa Regent Taipei, Janfusun Prince Hotel, Kenting Sheraton Resort, Jiaoxi L'Hotel, Taroko Elegance Hotel, and Taitung Naluwan Hotel. From December 7 to December 20, the 13 trial stay experience articles will compete in a Facebook popularity vote on the finals website, with the ultimate Ace Sleep Tester winner to be announced on December 24.
