The U.S. Can Also Be Explored in Depth

Tauck Travel was actually established in the U.S. in 1925. Starting with just four guests, it has now taken over a million travelers on trips. Beyond the U.S., it has expanded to other countries, emphasizing privacy and in-depth cultural experiences. Because of this, its tour prices can even be up to twice as high as those of local tour groups. However, Tauck Travel’s tour fees include all tips, meals, transportation, and entrance fees, and guests stay in the best hotels at their destinations. Meal expenses are chosen freely by members at restaurants of their selection. Participants book their spots a full year in advance, and the group comprises people from various countries with English-guided tours throughout. In 2011, Tauck Travel launched storytelling-based tours developed with documentary director and producer Ken Bruns and acclaimed author Dayton Duncan. There were six U.S.-themed tours: “America’s National Parks & Canyon Journey,” “New Orleans: Soul Jazz,” “Savoring the Flavors of the Northeastern U.S. Coast,” “America’s Southwest: A Panoramic Tour of Four States,” “Yellowstone & Grand Teton National Parks: A Wildlife Discovery Journey,” and “An All-American Experience for the Whole Family: Beyond Disney and Universal Studios.”
