To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic, Ideal Resort Hualien has rolled out a series of exciting activities from Christmas through New Year’s Day, along with special accommodation packages for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

This New Year’s Eve, Ideal Resort has invited the “Phonon Ensemble Brass Band” to blend the beauty of Hualien’s mountains and sea into enchanting melodies, showcasing local charm. On New Year’s Eve night, performances will include dynamic indigenous dances by the Ideal Theater Troupe, a finale rock band concert, a New Year’s Eve bingo game for pleasant surprises, and a grand finale featuring a live broadcast of the Taipei 101 countdown and spectacular fireworks. Guests are sure to ring in the new year in high spirits.

On New Year’s Day, a “100 Guests, 100 Tiered Cakes” creation challenge will be held at the main lawn to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic. Led by Chef Ah Liang, an award-winning pastry chef from Beijing known for innovative dessert development, guests will learn cake decoration techniques and work together to complete this first “perfect 100” achievement of the year.
