Malaysia’s Petronas Twin Towers (Petronas Twin Towers), famous for their dazzling annual fireworks show, reach romantic heights with music and water dances in the Gardens Square. In addition to the Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur also offers vibrant countdown concerts. This year, Sungei Wang Plaza on Kuala Lumpur’s Bukit Bintang will continue its grand New Year’s Eve party – the “Sungei Wang MY MUSIC KTV Live Countdown Party.” Taiwanese singers Power Station, Tank, and Malaysian artists Gary Chaw, and Dong Yu Zhe will take the stage at 9:30 PM on December 31st on the closed-off streets of Sungei Wang Plaza, belting out karaoke hits and counting down the new year with the crowd. To raise the festive vibe to the max, Sungei Wang Plaza will feature a live band performance for the first time this year, ensuring an unforgettable countdown experience for all.

Another major Malaysian city – Penang – also hosts an exciting New Year’s Eve gala. On the evening of December 31st, events will be held at Auto City, Queensbay Mall, Esplanade, as well as various hotels and restaurants. Straits Quay in Tanjung Tokong even features a unique beach countdown. Among them, Auto City’s event is particularly impressive, offering not only performances and music but also activities for children, making it ideal for family outings.

Genting Highlands, a destination familiar to many Taiwanese travelers, also holds lively celebrations. Genting Outdoor Theme Park will host the “New Year’s Eve Countdown Fireworks Show” on December 31st, opening free entry to the public at 7 PM. Dazzling fireworks paired with the joyful atmosphere of Genting Highlands will create a brand-new celebratory vibe. The best spots to view the fireworks include the Merdeka Stage, Flying Jumbo ride, and Spinner ride.
