The Agri-Tourism EasyGo Network’s “Beautiful New Villages” features a collection of 336 attractions across Taiwan, ensuring fun from the start of the year to the end—keeping your whole year enriched.

The “Beautiful New Villages” special feature is divided into five major sections. The “Farm Calendar” combines the trendy concept of “Eat Local, Play Seasonal,” planning fun itineraries that include dining, accommodation, sightseeing, and play based on the characteristics of leisure agricultural areas. For example, the first-harvest sweet strawberries from Dahua are now available. Visitors can head to the Jiangmaya Leisure Agricultural Area in Dahua Township to enjoy the fun of strawberry picking. In Xinyi Township, Nantou County, plum blossoms are in full bloom. Aside from admiring the plum blossoms, you can also visit i-Yan Ju Shinnong in Shuili Township to learn about organic farming and experience rural education. This will greatly enrich your travel experience.

“Rural Fun for Travelers” is divided into six major themed experiences: flower viewing, fruit picking, ecology, cycling, hiking, and gourmet food. For instance, the Qingshui Leisure Agricultural Area in Guanshan Township is blooming with gorgeous flower fields, where you can pick fruits along the way or savor rice-based dishes. In the Ruanpikeng Leisure Agricultural Area of Dongshi Township, Taichung County, you can pick sweet persimmons—the red fruits dotting the mountain town create a breathtaking view. For unique cuisine, the quail dishes at Yuanshan Leisure Agricultural Area in Wanluan Township are not only delicate and juicy but also serve as the six-star top-tier ingredient for Taiwan’s first Michelin-starred restaurant.
