On Monday the 26th, affected by the northeast monsoon, the weather will be cooler in the north and northeastern regions, and also cool in the morning and evening in other areas; there will be scattered showers in the northern, eastern, and mountainous central and southern regions, while other areas including Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu will see mostly cloudy to sunny weather. Daytime temperatures in the north will range around 15–18°C, in the central region around 17–22°C, and in the south around 19–24°C.

On Tuesday the 27th, temperatures will rise slightly. February 28 is a national holiday—rain is possible in northern areas of central and southern Taiwan north of Chiayi. Except for Matsu in Lienchiang County, where temperatures will be below 15°C, other regions will see temperatures above 16°C. With smaller day-night temperature differences, be sure to stay warm, as daytime highs can exceed 20°C, and southern areas may reach up to 26–28°C at their warmest.
