The Taipei Flower Expo surpasses 3 million visitors, distributing lucky gift bags generously

Two months after its opening, the Taipei Flower Expo reached 3 million visitors at 11:29 AM on January 5. On-site, 1,100 lucky tickets were immediately distributed for the public to win big prizes and take home gift bags. The final top prize of NT$50,000 — a twin-room stay voucher at the Yunping Hotel in Sun Moon Lake and the Regent Taipei — was won by 26-year-old Ms. Zhou. The Flower Expo also gave out 1,090 commemorative gift bags to visitors.
Taipei Mayor Hau Lung-pin presented the top prize to the lucky winner.
Ms. Zhou Jiahui, who luckily won the top prize, said that today was her first visit to the Flower Expo and she never expected to win the grand prize. She plans to give the accommodation voucher to her parents and recommends that visitors come with friends to explore the Flower Expo together. Taipei Mayor Hau Lung-pin expressed gratitude to all visitors for their support of the Flower Expo, as well as to the hard work of staff and volunteers. He also noted that the Flower Expo maintains good order with an average of 50,000 visitors per day, and every area is very clean, making the Flower Expo a source of pride for Taiwanese people.
The 3-millionth visitor celebration event held today at the Dajia Riverside Park District not only featured the “NT$36 Enjoy Good Gifts” and lottery activities but also prepared 300 tea eggs to be given away generously. The popular Flower Elf dolls also made an exception by holding an autograph session on-site, stamping fans with a unique 3-millionth visitor commemorative seal.
The Taipei Flower Expo has received widespread acclaim from all sectors.
In addition to the top prize, other awarded items included two twin-room stay vouchers at the O Joy Boutique Hotel for the second prize, and for the third prize, Flower Elf-themed scarves, character hats, souvenir cups, commemorative stamp sets, and nano paper speakers. These prizes thrilled the lucky winners.
