There are many island paradises in the world that only celebrities, politicians, and business elites visit for vacation, and Seychelles Island in the Indian Ocean is known as one of the “most luxurious travel destinations in the world.” The hotels there are correspondingly top-tier and expensive. The Raffles Hotel Praslin will open on Seychelles Island in February 2011, becoming the island’s first luxury resort.

Located on Praslin Island, the Raffles Hotel is close to the World Heritage site — Vallée de Mai, which is home to a rich diversity of rare flora and fauna, allowing guests to enjoy a tranquil island life away from the city. Most visitors to Seychelles are wealthy, and it is said that David Beckham also spent his honeymoon here, enjoying snorkeling.

The resort built on Seychelles Island sits on expansive land and features a total of 86 one-bedroom and two-bedroom villas, along with round-the-clock butler service. In addition, it plans to sell three-bedroom, four-bedroom, and five-bedroom residences for high-end buyers to purchase as private holiday homes, offering access to some of the world’s most breathtaking scenery.
