"Macau Treasure Hunt: Current Rush" – Experience Macau for Free!

Starting in January, Macau’s New Year celebrations kick off with exciting lion dance performances and traditional Portuguese folk dances held every Saturday and Sunday in front of the Ruins of St. Paul’s and A-Ma Temple. Additionally, the “Joyful Spring Festival” and “Melodies of the Night” New Year concerts will take place on January 23 and 27, allowing visitors to enjoy the warmth of festive cheer through beautiful melodies. On New Year’s Eve, travelers can choose to dine at one of nine Michelin-starred restaurants for a reunion dinner. On the first and second days of the Lunar New Year (February 3 and 4), a 238-meter-long golden dragon and 18 lively lions will parade starting from the Ruins of St. Paul’s, passing through Senado Square, A-Ma Temple, Fisherman’s Wharf, Taipa Houses–Museum, and Rua da Cunha in Coloane, filling the streets with festive energy. The Macao Government Tourism Office will also deploy the twelve zodiac animals, the Three Lucky Stars (Fu, Lu, Shou), and the God of Wealth at various attractions to wish visitors a happy new year and hand out red envelopes, bringing good luck throughout the year.
