Great place for a flower expo family trip:: Dajia Riverside Park

A popular itinerary for Spring Festival travel or weekend family outings is a visit to the Flower Expo Dajia Riverside Park area. Located on the Dajia section of the Keelung River in Zhongshan District, Taipei (left bank from Dazhi Bridge to Zhongshan Bridge), this riverside park covers an area of approximately 420,000 square meters. It is a vast green space for public leisure during holidays and also served as the most expansive outdoor exhibition area during the 2010 Taipei International Flora Expo.

The Dajia Riverside Park area currently features major exhibition facilities such as the Mobile Dome, Eco Theater, Dajia Wharf, Blue Highway, and Carnival Boulevard.

This serves as the main venue for popular events and performances. Located east of the Fountain of Hope, it is a tent-style performance space equipped with theater facilities and audience seating, accommodating about 1,200–1,500 people. It includes areas for artistic performances and exhibitions.

Eco Theater

The “Eco Theater” is an open-air performance space with the Fountain of Hope as its central stage, extending out to a 200-meter diameter audience area. It embodies both the “artistic” and “public” characteristics of an outdoor theater. Additionally, it uses the element of “flowers” as its primary visual theme, with “water” as the interface, developing along the linear space between the riverbank and its reflections to create an axis for the eco-theater experience, focusing on the main stage at the Fountain of Hope.

Dajia Wharf – Blue Highway

Dajia Wharf is located within the Dajia exhibition area and serves as a key hub of the Flower Expo Blue Highway. Traveling on the Blue Highway connects various Flower Expo exhibition zones, the Raohe Street night market, and the Miramar Entertainment Park shopping district, while also offering access to the scenic and recreational spots along the Keelung River.

Carnival Boulevard

It features large-scale floral float parades that generate buzz, attract media attention, enhance the exposition’s visibility, and draw crowds to the Dajia exhibition site.
