The globally renowned gourmet authority "Michelin restaurants" are beloved by food connoisseurs. The 2011 Michelin Guide for Hong Kong and Macau listed nine restaurants in Macau, including French, Cantonese, and dim sum spots. Among them, the "Aurora" at the Galaxy Macau resort’s Galaxy Hotel is an Italian restaurant. Its two-course lunch set is only 188 Macanese patacas—truly affordable "star dining."

One of the signature dishes, the pearled guinea fowl, bacon, and apple roll, is slow-cooked at low temperature for 30 minutes to keep the chicken tender and not dry or tough.
"Aurora" holds one Michelin star. The restaurant is bright and cozy, offering a relaxed atmosphere perfect for casual chats or business discussions. There is also an outdoor seating area and large private rooms with views of the Macau Peninsula’s sea. The décor features soft tones with warm hues of silver, copper, and orange, complemented by Hermès cutlery and tableware that blend beautifully with the natural light for a truly relaxing experience.
