Lady Gaga to appear in Taichung on July 3, enter with album exchange

Pop diva Lady Gaga is finally coming to Taiwan. Her promotional tour itinerary has been confirmed to take place in early July, and she will be in Taichung on July 3 for a series of close-up fan interaction activities. Fans can enter by exchanging their albums. Ticket exchange points will be set up in northern, central, and southern Taiwan, with detailed ticket giveaway methods to be announced on June 23.

Taichung Mayor Hu Zhiqiang and Universal Music Greater China’s Managing Director Zhang Songhui attended a press briefing yesterday, announcing that on July 3, they will present the city key to Lady Gaga LADY GAGA in Taichung, and declare the day “Lady Gaga Day” in the city. That evening, she will also take the stage at the Taichung Round Theater to promote her latest album “Born This Way.” This is a non-ticketed new music showcase, where fans who have pre-ordered Lady Gaga’s new album “Born This Way” are eligible to exchange their albums for entry.

Additionally, as the sole exclusive sponsor of Lady Gaga’s promotional tour in Taiwan, Mercedes-Benz has launched the “BORN THIS WAY: Built for the Road” creative styling competition. From now until June 28, participants can upload their creative works through the official blog event page “BORN THIS WAY: Built for the Road” on PIXNET. Winners will have a chance to receive tickets to Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” new music showcase at the Taichung Round Theater on July 3.
