The Wuling Farm Cherry Blossom Season runs from February 11 to 28, and Sanyi Township continues the event this year.“Wuling Cherry Blossom Viewing – Depart from Sanyi”This event is organized to avoid traffic congestion, with cooperation from Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport, operating 3 to 6 special cherry blossom shuttle buses daily from Sanyi Township, one of which is pre-booked by the township office. Starting at 10:00 AM on January 16, advance proxy booking services will be available, along with discounts on accommodation and dining. The aim is to encourage visitors to explore Sanyi after enjoying the cherry blossoms.

Magistrate Huang Xiyong stated that since 2014, the township office has been advocating for cherry blossom shuttle buses departing from Sanyi and providing phone-based reservation services. This allows seniors who are not familiar with online ticket booking to easily purchase tickets and also saves travel time for local and nearby township residents. Visitors coming from Sanyi also help increase the number of visitors to local attractions such as flower fields, Changpi Lake, and Annong Stream, as well as boost revenue for homestays, restaurants, and local agricultural specialties.

This year, incorporating elements of flower fields and the New Year symbol—the rooster—it is expected to attract more visitors than previous years.The earliest daily Kuo-Kuang bus departs from Sanyi at 7:20 AM and returns around 5:00 PM,making it a perfect day trip. The township office’s tourism website will announce daily the pre-sale registration and remaining ticket availability from the previous day. During office hours, the public can call the Wuling Cherry Blossom Pre-booking Hotline to reserve tickets, with a limit of 4 tickets per person and sales ending once capacity is reached. No on-site ticket booking is accepted. For other departure times, please purchase tickets directly through the Kuo-Kuang Motor Transport system.

This year, all visitors boarding in Sanyi can participate in a free lucky draw event organized by the township office. Additionally, in collaboration with homestay and restaurant operators, ticket holders can enjoy various discounts. The full list of participating partners will be posted on the township office’s official website. For any inquiries, the public is welcome to call the township office’s Tourism Division.
