Four Taiwanese enterprises head to Queensland to compete for a $30 million travel prize

The "Million Dollar Memo" competition organized by Tourism Queensland has entered its final stage, with four major Taiwanese companies making it to the top 20. They will fly to Queensland on August 22 for an eight-day competition against businesses from around the world to compete for the title of "World’s Greatest Business." The winner will receive a reward travel package worth NT$30 million, and it is hoped that the Taiwanese business

After six months of intense competition, four Taiwanese companies—ASUS Computer Inc., Procter & Gamble Taiwan, XinMedia, and Yahoo! Taiwan—stood out among 233 global participants, securing a spot in the final top fifth. Their performance was outstanding. Pan Wen, Director of Tourism Queensland’s Greater China Office, stated that all four companies have been conducting rigorous training for their representatives, all aiming to secure this ultimate honor for their employees.

The ultimate challenge will not only test participants in various ways but also take them to the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Whitsunday Islands, and Tropical North Queensland, where they can experience golf, boating, sand cays, and spa treatments. The champion will be announced on August 31.
