Northeast Coast Promotes Tourism: Buy the Golden Fulong Line Tourist Pass and Enter to Win an iPad 2

From now until August 31, anyone who purchases the Golden Fulong Line Tourist Pass in denominations of NT$50, NT$199, NT$299, or NT$599 can redeem an iPad 2 raffle ticket at the Fulong Visitor Center with their stub. Prizes include a grand prize — one Apple iPad 2 with 3G 64GB — and first prizes — two Apple iPad 2 with Wi-Fi 16GB. Raffle ticket redemption ends on August 31 of this year.

The Northeast Coast & Yilan Coast National Scenic Area Administration, under the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, has launched the “Taiwan Tourist Shuttle – Golden Fulong Line,” which officially started operations on June 4. Partnering with Lion Travel, Keelung Bus (NT$50 bus coupons available for purchase on board), Taiwan Railways, Taiwan High Speed Rail, bicycle rental shops, bento box vendors, and hotels, it offers a variety of pass combinations such as NT$199 (train ticket + bus ticket), NT$299 (train ticket + bus ticket + bento box & bike rental coupon), and NT$599 (train ticket + bus ticket + Fulong Fulai Hotel meal voucher) to make it easier for visitors to explore the Northeast Coast.

The Golden Fulong Line stops at Ruifang Railway Station, Jiufen, Gold Ecological Park, Bitou Service Area, Dragon Cave Bay Marine Park, Dragon Cave Four Seasons Bay, Aodi, and the Fulong Visitor Center.
