Explore Taitung with Ease: Themed Tourist Shuttle Buses Launched

Beautiful Taitung is ideal for family and friends to explore together, and following the popularity of the Taiwan Good Trip–scenic area shuttle buses and the True Feelings Bus one-day tours, the Taitung County Government has launched a major thematic event series from summer vacation to the end of the year. There are four one-day sightseeing theme tours available, each for just NT$300, allowing participants to enjoy the most popular themed activities and unique experiences. Each session accommodates 40 people, totaling 160 bus trips, and the event runs until December 15, 2011.

The Taitung County Government’s Tourism Division stated that Taitung, with its rich natural resources and diverse ethnic cultures, has always been an ideal travel destination for many. The themed tourist shuttles also align with seasonal events in Taitung. The four main themes are “Flight Fun Between Two Mountains” (available until the end of August), “Authentic Indigenous Culture” (September to mid-October), “Sea and Sky in Harmony—Flag and Orange Fun” (mid-October to mid-November), and “I Love the Yanping Hot Springs” (mid-November to December).

Participating in the themed tourist shuttle tour costs only NT$300 per person, which includes NT$2 million accident insurance, NT$50,000 travel industry liability insurance for medical expenses, bus fare, fuel costs, driver gratuity, a local lunch, entrance fees or activity participation, guided tours with thematic commentary and onboard guide services, as well as administrative fees—offering great value. Plus, each participant receives a souvenir. Spaces are limited, so interested individuals are encouraged to sign up early.
