Spotting the remarkable potential of Taiwan’s specialty coffee market, Zhanlü Coffee kicked off 2017 with an “ultra-premium” focus by releasing four ultra-premium series to capture top-tier customers and female clientele for afternoon tea. Leading the lineup is a thousand-Taiwan-Dollar (1,250 TWD) estate auction coffee, “Guatemala Injerto,” whose beans cost up to 25,000 TWD per kilogram. Zhanlü Coffee secured only 300 pounds of these beans, allowing for just 6,000 cups—once they’re gone, they’re gone.
Zhanlü Coffee’s four ultra-premium series are: the estate auction coffee “Guatemala Injerto” at 1,250 TWD per cup; the premium curated blend “Rose Life” at 500 TWD per cup; the “Costa Rica Finca Canet Estate Musician Series Bach” at 450 TWD per cup; and the most talked-about coffee in the industry, the “Natural Ethiopia Sidamo Bensa,” at 350 TWD per cup.

Guatemala Injerto
Sourced from the Injerto Estate, located on the famed Huehuetenango Plateau in Guatemala, often referred to as the “paradise for coffee cultivation,” this selection consists of 2016 auction lot beans (EI-10), with a global limit of 300 pounds. The beans feature a unique jasmine aroma, bright and balanced citrus acidity, along with tropical fruit notes, distinctive wild scents, and special caramel fragrances.
Rose Life
Following the success of the self-developed V21 blend, widely praised since its launch in 2005, this coffee is crafted from two ultra-premium beans. It’s a light-roasted blend from East Africa and Central America, offering initial notes of delicate peach aroma and sweetness, with a slight astringency lingering in the aftertaste.

Upon tasting, you can discern layered flavors of plum, strawberry, cherry, chocolate, black vinegar, chestnut, cream, and caramel, delivering a rich overall mouthfeel.
Natural Ethiopia Sidamo Bensa
Processed using specially custom-made wooden drying racks, this coffee offers abundant aromas of strawberry, rose, jasmine tea, and tropical fruit flavors, without feeling cloying.
