The couple’s inn is located at No. 11 Youya Road, Beitou. Its name has a clever origin: the number “11” resembles “two people,” hence the name “Couple’s Inn.” Even the entrance lighting is specially designed in the shape of the LOGO.

The inn is positioned as a design boutique property. Renowned architect Li Weimin was invited to transform the original building into 23 uniquely colored hot spring bathhouse suites: from B1 to the third floor, the main color schemes are “chocolate brown,” “rose red,” “champagne gold,” and “Tiffany blue-white,” each with its own meaning. In the midst of Beitou’s many Japanese-style hot spring inns, it has successfully carved out its own distinctive character. From the exterior to the lobby, almost no curved designs can be seen—the landscape windows, reception desk, and wooden guest chairs are all straight-lined, giving the space a sharp, minimalist feel that enhances its fashion appeal.

The Couple’s Inn brings natural elements such as sunlight, air, and water into the hotel by designing a central atrium that runs through the entire building. Each floor of guest rooms is arranged around this central atrium, and almost every room opens up to a large glass window, offering views of the landscaped greenery outside and even the distant residential buildings. The lowest part of the atrium (B1) is designed as a shallow pool, where sunlight shines on the stepping stones and plants in the water, creating an extremely serene atmosphere. For dining, the Couple’s Inn embraces the current trend of healthy and wellness cuisine, offering “hot pot” meals that emphasize premium ingredients and the chef’s exquisite skills, adding a sweet touch to couples’ time together.

Each guest room has a semi-open-air hot spring soaking area, protected by latticed sliding doors to ensure guest privacy. Another partition glass door connected to the bedroom has gaps at the top and bottom edges to allow for ventilation. Even when soaking in the brightly tiled mosaic bath for a while, there is absolutely no stuffy feeling. The large floor-to-ceiling windows, coupled with the open atrium design, allow you to take in the twinkling lights of Beitou at night while enjoying your soak. The room maintains the same minimalist tone as the exterior, using plenty of natural materials like stone, wood, and trees to create a refreshing visual and relaxing atmosphere.
