Zhang Zhipeng, an advisor to the Republic of China Camping Association, said: “Tokyo, with a population of about 30 million, has only one campground at Kasai Seaside Park in Koto Ward, while Taipei, with a population of around 6 million, has a vast green camping space—that’s truly something to appreciate!” For Taipei residents, Huazhong Leisure Camping Park is a convenient way to enjoy camping, while for visitors from elsewhere, its connections to Taipei’s extensive public transport network make it highly accessible and economical.

Many advanced countries around the world, including Germany, the UK, the US, and Canada… place great emphasis on the joys of camping life. The annual International Camping Congress also reflects the growing demand for higher-quality camping experiences. This form of travel, which will never disappear despite the variety of hotels and homestays, reveals the fundamental human connection with nature. How long has it been since you last went camping?
