Delta Air Lines Launches Promotion: Flights from Japan to the U.S. Start at Just $8,400 Round-Trip Including Taxes and Fees

News broke on the 12th that Delta Air Lines would be exiting the Taiwanese market, shocking the aviation industry. This rumor has since been confirmed by Delta’s Taiwan branch, which has officially announced that it will cease operations after the last flight from Taipei to Tokyo on May 24. Four days after the news emerged, Delta is also taking the opportunity to launch promotional airfares for flights from Japan to the U.S., covering key destinations such as New York, San Diego, and Miami, with round-trip prices starting at just $8,400 including taxes and fees.

Delta Air Lines is now offering promotional airfares for flights departing from Japan (Tokyo/Nagoya/Osaka/Fukuoka) to the U.S., targeting direct U.S. flight routes from Japan as well as major U.S. connecting hubs: San Diego, Miami, New York, Boston, and Dallas. The discounted fares start at a minimum of $8,400 round-trip including taxes and fees. Passengers need to purchase their Taiwan–Japan segment tickets separately.
