The opening is getting closer. Ichiran Ramen begins hiring in Taiwan—store to open in Xinyi District.

Ichiran Ramen, a favorite among Taiwanese travelers, has officially confirmed its entry into Taiwan. Everyone is eager to know when it will open and where the store will be located. Although the official announcement hasn't been made yet, the company has started recruiting employees under the name “Hong Kong Ichiran Co., Ltd. Taiwan Branch” on job recruitment platforms. Training is scheduled from mid-February to early March, so the opening likely won’t have to wait until autumn. As for the location, the store is expected to be in Taipei’s Xinyi District.

On the job recruitment platform, Hong Kong Ichiran Co., Ltd. Taiwan Branch is hiring both full-time and part-time service staff. The job description even states, “Dear Taiwanese ramen lovers, thank you for your patience. We’re finally coming to Taiwan.” Interviews are expected to start on January 23, with training scheduled from mid-February to early March. By this estimate, it shouldn’t be long before Taiwanese can enjoy Ichiran Ramen.

But where exactly will the store open? Earlier rumors suggested possible locations such as Yongkang Street and Taipei 101, but no further updates have emerged. According to the registered company address of Hong Kong Ichiran Co., Ltd. Taiwan Branch on the recruitment platform, it is located at Songren Road, Xinyi District, Taipei. Further investigation into the business registration of Hong Kong Ichiran Co., Ltd. reveals that the company address was changed from Room 5, 7F, No. 185, Songjiang Road, Zhongshan District, Taipei (185, Songjiang Rd., 7F, No. 5) to 1F, No. 97, Songren Road, Xinyi District, Taipei (97, Songren Rd., 1F). It is inferred that the store will likely be at 1F, No. 97, Songren Road, Xinyi District, Taipei. A reporter visited the address and found it to be the location of the former OUTBACK Steakhouse Taipei Xinyi Branch in the Group Sense Financial Building, which is currently under renovation. The possibility that Ichiran Ramen will set up shop here is quite high.
