Haraman Models Taiwan Tourism: Longshan Temple, Northeast Coast, and Sun Moon Lake Featured

Hollywood comedy king Rob Schneider will arrive in Taiwan with his wife tomorrow (the 6th) for a several-day stay. In addition to their second honeymoon, they will also shoot international promotional photos for Taiwan tourism. The couple will take wedding photos on the Northeast Coast, pray at Taipei’s Longshan Temple for a smooth childbirth in November, and experience tea-making in Nantou, becoming ambassadors for Taiwan’s global tourism.

Having visited Taiwan multiple times, Schneider is very familiar with Taiwan’s famous attractions and cuisine. He mentioned that he and his wife often planned to head straight to Shilin Night Market in Hollywood to enjoy the unforgettable Dongshan duck heads and various Taiwanese night market snacks. His wife, Patricia, who frequently shares affectionate moments with Schneider, has recently announced some exciting news — she is expecting a baby in November, a Dragon Year baby. To help with prenatal education and learn about traditional Taiwanese culture, the Tourism Bureau has arranged for them to visit Longshan Temple in Wanhua to pray for a safe pregnancy. They will then head to the newly designated Taiwan tourism town of Shuili, Jinguashi, and Jiufen for a nostalgic gold-mining journey.

Taiwan’s expertise in wedding photography has long attracted many foreign newlyweds to take their photos here, and Schneider’s trip will also include a visit to the popular wedding photo spot — the Northeast Coast. Meanwhile, Sun Moon Lake, a beloved honeymoon destination for travelers from around the world, is one of the must-visit spots for Schneider’s second honeymoon in Taiwan. Aside from strolling along the lakeside to enjoy the scenic beauty of Sun Moon Lake, Schneider will also hop on a bike to ride along the cycling path ranked by CNN as one of the most beautiful in the world. In addition, Schneider, who is usually fond of drinking Taiwanese tea, will visit a tea plantation in Nantou to personally experience the fun of picking, processing, and tasting tea. The Tourism Bureau will film the comedy king’s second honeymoon trip in Taiwan for future international tourism marketing use.
