Early Autumn Starry Sky Concert: Beautiful Bel Canto, Blues Resound by the Beautiful Bitan River

As autumn arrives, would you like to experience a romantic night of blues and jazz by the starlit river? From August 31 to September 16, for three consecutive weeks on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from 18:30 to 20:30, the “Shimmering Bitan – Starry Sky Concert” will be held at Bitan East Bank Plaza, with a total of 9 performancesoffeaturing music events covering themes such as blues, classical, and jazz, including well-known movie soundtracks. The Bitan East Bank Plaza will become a stage for mid-career and young emerging bands and musicians performing jazz and light music. The first week will also feature activities such as couples’ kissing shows and love declarations, as well as prize quizzes, allowing the public to enjoy a romantic weekend evening.

This music event spans three weeks and is divided into three thematic movements: the first week “Bel Canto Blues,” the second week “Jazz Rhapsody,” and the third week “Rock the Classics.” Performing groups include the Renaissance Orchestra, Xiangxiang Woodwind Quintet, Brazil Kiss Band, Semifusa Chamber Orchestra, Dash Brass Quintet, and the student band from Xindian High School, among 15 groups in total. The repertoire also includes well-known movie soundtracks, theme songs, and original compositions by the bands, showcasing the vitality and creativity of the performers through classical, blues, and jazz pieces that range from lively to laid-back.

In addition, during the first week of the Starry Sky Concert, 15 bold and loving couples will be invited to showcase their love through matching outfits, couple rings, watches, and other fashion items, followed by a 10-second kiss. Each participating couple will receive a chocolate gift. Additionally, prize quiz activities will be held during intermissions of each performance, with prizes including double afternoon tea vouchers and premium beverages.
