In response, the Kinmen County Government has launched five themed food tour packages—“Loving Kinmen’s Unique Flavors,” “Kinmen Seafood Adventure,” “Hold Liwang All-Beef Feast Tour,” “Healthy & Relaxed Eating Journey,” and “Magical Oyster & Taro Delights Tour”—for an online vote. From now until midnight on September 14, participants who vote on the event website will have a chance to win prizes such as a two-person Kinmen gourmet experience tour and round-trip tickets between Taiwan and Kinmen. This allows visitors to explore Kinmen’s famous attractions between meals, fulfilling their desires for both travel and delicious food.

Among the five themed food tours, “Loving Kinmen’s Unique Flavors” features exclusive local dishes you can only find in Kinmen, such as mango beef, taro duck, Kinmen pickled cabbage, and Shaoxing wine-steamed crab. “Kinmen Seafood Adventure” focuses on fresh, local seafood, including Kinmen’s unique stir-fried sandworms, sea helmets, and wild oysters. “Hold Liwang All-Beef Feast Tour” highlights yellow cattle raised in Kinmen with sorghum lees and natural pasture, delivering sweet and fragrant meat. Dishes made with fresh beef preserve the meat’s umami and offer a rich variety of flavors.

For foodies who care about both taste and fitness, the “Healthy & Relaxed Eating Journey” combines deliciousness with wellness. Options include President Chiang Ching-kuo’s favorite Shanxi cold noodles, fragrant taro rice noodles and small soup dumplings, or refreshing fruit meals—all satisfying cravings while keeping you healthy. Additionally, highlighting Kinmen’s pride, the taro and oysters, the “Magical Oyster & Taro Delights Tour” uses locally grown taro with an aromatic, crispy texture, paired with fresh, pollution-free, plump oysters to conquer your taste buds.

This food-themed tour vote will select one winner for a two-person Kinmen gourmet experience tour, two winners for a single-person Kinmen gourmet experience tour, and five winners for one-year round-trip tickets between Taiwan and Kinmen.
