Capture the beauty of Taipei’s urban culture and compete for the top prize of NT$30,000

“People” and “architecture” are the two most fundamental elements that make up a “city,” while “strolling” allows you to experience the subtle interactions among people, buildings, and the city through a form of travel that doesn’t always have a fixed destination. In this regard, the Taipei City Government’s Department of Information and Tourism has organized the “Taipei. Endless Journey” photography competition, hoping tothrough the lens of travelersdiscover the beautiful interplay among people, architecture, and the city in Taipei. The event is now open for submissions until October 15. The first prize winner will receive a cash award of NT$30,000. The winning entries will be exhibited at the Taipei Explorer Dome, and selected works will also be featured on the “Taipei Tourism Network.”

This photography competition focuses on the theme of mutual interaction between “people and the city” and “architecture and the city,” and for the first time, allows online submissions, making it more convenient and immediate for participants to upload their works and promote them through social media. The event will select the top three gold, silver, and bronze award winners, as well as 10 merit award winners and 20 honorable mention works. The gold award winner will take home a prize of NT$30,000.
